This serio-comic British comedy mixes sex with social satire as TAYLOR plays a public relations man who represents pop singer. After an affair between the singer and a young woman turns into an abortion scandal, Taylor leaves the agency. He goes on a drinking binge and splits with his wife. He then turns to his bet friend , but sleazily seduces the fellow's wife, CAROL WHITE. After the friend is killed in a car accident and the singer's sordid past comes to light. Taylor turns his back on it all and departs with White.
