ANN-MARGRET -
Born Ann-Margret Olsson on April 28, 1941 in Valsjobyn, Sweden, she got her first taste of fame in the 1963 musical "BYE, BYE BIRDIE", and continued her film career making 29 movies in 17 years while singing and dancing throughout the world with her much acclaimed live act. Dismissed for her lack of acting skills due to a series of bad role choices, she surprised her critics and got an Academy Award nomination as Best Supporting Actress in 1971 for "CARNAL KNOWLEDGE" and Best Actress in 1975 for "TOMMY". Still active on both the small screen in made-for-TV movies and as the middle aged femme fatale of "GRUMPY" and "GRUMPIER OLD MEN."
