In this leering romantic comedy from the Cold War era, SOMMER is a rebellious East German athlete who pole vaults over the Berlin Wall to gain freedom from lecherous coach KLEMPERER. While there she meets an American black marketeer played by CRANE and despite a topsy turvy series of events, love wins out. Although this rarity contained almost the entire starring cast of HOGAN'S HEROES and got added publicity via a Playboy pictorial with Elke, the film deservedly tanked. Filled with off-color jokes and pratfalls, the best thing about it is the beautiful star in her prime appearing in various stages of erotic dress and undress.
